Get rich quick schemes-do they work

• Earn millions annually from a completely automated system

• No calling prospects

• No selling

• Let the system do the work for you, and sit back and relax and wait for those checks!

Sound familiar? Admittedly these promises are ferociously enticing, but don’t rush into this, take your time to think about what you’re getting into.

I just received an email in my inbox this morning that promised me all of the above, with a whopping 400$ per sale. But wait, if I make four hundred per sale, how much is it going to cost me to get into this?

Likely it will be more than double of the offered commission.

With the hundreds of offers I receive every month, I would be flat out broke if I had joined every opportunity I had come across. Listen, I would like to share a secret with you.

Can you handle the truth? Brace yourselves because here it comes.

You will never, EVER make a single solitary cent if you do not have the one simple thing that every single internet marketing millionaire has. And that simply is: A professional website that consistently gets traffic. This is exactly why so many people have failed to make money from the internet. Unfortunately having a great looking website is not enough. The “If you build it, they will come” philosophy does not apply to the internet.

Let me show you the simple formula for making a FORTUNE online. No, you do not have to pay for this information like so many other websites, just keep reading.

The fact is: These get rich quick schemes actually DO work and are actually automated if you have a website getting traffic to it. I have heard of countless stories of people joining an affiliate program, putting a link to the sales pages on their site, and completely forgetting about it. A month goes by, and they get a check in the mail for tens of thousands of dollars.

This is possible because they are consistently getting hundreds or even thousands of visitors to their website every day. Don’t panic! Just because this is not happening to you does not mean you should give up and call it quits. A majority of the visitors they get to their sites are FREE, because all of the best methods of traffic are indeed free. They merely take a fair amount of time to establish.

The thought is enough to give anyone gooseflesh. Let me tell you, if you have a much-visited website then it doesn’t matter what product or how many products your selling, you will make a FORTUNE, I guarantee it. When it comes to internet marketing, 95% of all your hard work will be towards getting traffic to your site, while the other 5% will consist of walking to your mailbox to collect your fat checks.

If you are new to making money online, the most important thing you can keep in mind for right now is: Do not quit. “The only way to fail in this business is to quit.” It doesn’t matter how long time passes while you are making no money, because all of your time should be spent on setting up a system so that you will be getting traffic to your site CONSISTENTLY. It may feel unrewarding at first. But trust me, when you get that first check, and then the next, and the next, and the next…you will realize that internet marketing was the best decision of your life.

Your Business is what YOU make it.

7 guidelines for used car prices

1. Know a little about pricing before you buy a used car. Franchise dealers that sell used cars add a certain percentage on the original value of the used car in the market. Markup is also added to the price of the used car at dealerships, which will make the price higher.

2. Determine the many factors that affect the used car prices. Used car pricings are affected by installed optional equipments or the location where you are buying the used car. There are areas that have a high market demand for a certain car. If that is the case, you may get a better deal if you travel outside of the zone to shop around for your car.

3. Find the used car's true market value at NADA. National Automobile Dealer's Association releases a copy of used car price guides every year. You may also check their web site to check the current prices of the used cars you are looking for.

4. Cheaper used cars may be found at government auctions. Government auctions happen every year and you may want to check out a checklist of the auction program. It may also offer you guidelines on finding quality used cars at lower prices. You may visit Federal Citizen Information to find out the guidelines in buying used cars from government auctions.

5. Check out the Internet. There are a lot of web sites that provide pricing guides on used cars and also guidelines in finding the right used car for you. You may compare prices; check out the features of the used car and the location where you can buy cheaper prices.

6. Determine if you have a fair deal with the price that is offered to you. Factors that affect used car prices include the age, market demand, overall condition, mileage, interior and exterior blemishes or if the car was maintained well.

7. Beware of trade tricks. Many dealers strategize on the behavior of consumers when buying used cars. Dealers know that buyers will not purchase a used car unless they feel that they are offered a price lower than the original price. Dealers tend to make the price higher than the actual amount and make the buyer believe that they are offering a discount. What the buyer does not know is that the discounted price is actually the original price of the car.

Spring break on south padre island

South Padre Island is a great place to vacation over Spring Break, especially for College students. Besides offering the usual spring break vacation fare of sand, sun, and fun (of course that's a reference to wild late night partying, beer, wet tshirt contents and the hook up), South Padre Island offers a number of other activities to occupy your time and entertain you during your spring break vacation.

Fishing - South Padre Island has gained a world wide reputation among fishermen. Half day and full day fishing trips in the Laguna Madre Bay and the Gulf of Mexico run for less than $20 to $1000 or more depending on your skills, the distance you want to travel (how far offshore) and your lifestyle demands. Since you are fishing a gulf and not your area lake, the list of the type of fish you can catch is long but a few would be: whiting, drum, flounder, trout, redfish, kingfish, wahoo, tuna, marlin and sailfish.

Windsurfing - Spring Break is obviously during spring time which for windsurfers plying their trade at South Padre Island is the best time with spring's windy days. Known as one of the top windsurfing destinations in the world, South Padre Island offers some of the fastest windsurfing speeds in North America at places like, the bay, the Jetties, Bocas Chica, and the Ditch.

Kiteboarding - College spring breakers have never shied away from a challenge and kiteboarding is just that. One of the fasting growing and certainly hottest sports going, kiteboarding is challenging and adrenaline pumping and South Padre Island with consistent winds that offer beginner to experts near perfect flat-water conditions, is a great place to hone your kiteboarding skills.

Matamoros, Mexico - What's a vacation without souvenirs? Bargain shop across the border at American friendly, Matamoros, Mexico. You will find silver, leather goods, handicrafts and much more while strolling through this old Mexican town and it's busy markets. Dine on authentic Mexican food, enjoy museums and the culture of Mexico, just thirty minutes from South Padre Island.

While this is not a complete list of things to do during your spring break vacation on South Padre Island, hopefully it got you thinking of making your trip a bit more adventurous and thus your memories of spring break at South Padre Island that much more special.

Seo - why poets sometimes write great google ads

If you are a poet you have probably realized that there is not much work that you can do well that fits in the category of SEO writing. In fact you might be devoid of a lot of online work in general. Usually all poets get online is the occasional assignment where someone wants a toast written for a speech, a greeting for a card or a specialty poem written for his or her site for his or her holidays. Often this writing pays less then $50.

However if you are really good with words you might be successful at writing for clients who need Google Adword Ads. This is kind of like writing like a haiku and is especially suited to the poetic mind, which is used to writing within word perimeters. There are letter, word and character count limits so many poets find writing Google Ads a delightful challenge.

Google Adword writing is considered to be a specialty niche and you can charge between $20 - $30 for each three line Ad. There is a knack to it and many marketers just can’t do it. People are more than willing to pay this for an ad that gets them traffic on Google. The trouble is you have to be good at it and understand the business of keywords and how to SEO a Google Ad in the first place.

Keep in mind this is not a guaranteed income if you are a poet and in terms of freelance writing the equivalent of cold calling. However if you are a poet it might be worth your while to post a profile on elance or guru as some SEO marketers looking for this skill do realize that poets are the best at this type of writing! It is definitely a niche worth developing not only for a client’s business but also in terms of maximizing your own business.

Brian kopp s 1-70 leveling guide review - good or bad

I decided to post this Brian Kopp’s 1-70 Leveling Guide review after having a chance to see first hand what the guide can do. If you’re tired of toiling away, endlessly killing things in the middle of nowhere to hit 70, you’ll find this review of particular interest. In this brief review I’ll go over what you can expect to get from the guide, as well as whether or not I feel it is an effective way to increase your level. Hopefully, after reading this you’ll have a pretty good idea if the guide is worth your money.

If you’re into World of Warcraft, you know how frustrating it can be to plateau at a certain level. Whether you’re having difficulty getting to 17 or 70, Brian Kopp’s is here to help with his 1-70 Leveling Guide. He can show you how to get to 70, step by step, with less work than you ever thought possible. Now you can legally dominate your leveling time on any server!

Everyone knows that World of Warcraft is supposed to be fun to play. Grinding for hours isn’t fun, but questing is. Questing is also the fastest way to level, gain friends and be entertained. In Brian Kopp’s 1-70 Leveling Guide, you’ll be able to solo all the way to 70 using any race or class. The digital 115 page guide tells you when to accept/turn in quests, where to go and more so you can easily follow with any Alliance quest. In case you were wondering, the guide is also 100 percent legal and will not get you banned because it doesn’t use any hacks, bots or cheats. I can’t tell you how much of a difference Brian Kopp’s 1-70 Leveling Guide will make in your World of Warcraft play. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to level at a rate that will shame your friends and competition.

Move away cases

:
Move away cases occur when one parent, usually the custodial parent, chooses to move to a location that either severely limits or eliminates the other parent's ability to have contact with the children. This might happen if, for example, the mother has custody of the children and lives in Edmonton, and decides to move back to Toronto to be with her family and wants to bring the children with her. It is unlikely that due to the distance, cost of airfare, hotels and other issues that the father would be able to continue with the visitation schedule previously agreed to in court. It is also unlikely that Dad would willingly choose to move to Toronto himself, although this may be an option that could be explored in mediation.

The Conflict

One of the biggest conflicts with move away cases is it truly is a win-lose situation. Many adults see the divorce as a time to return to their homes or to move to a completely different community or area to get a new start or to do something they couldn't do when they were married. The problems arises because their move no longer impacts just themselves and their children, it also impacts the other spouse, and their ability to have a relationship with the children.

If you are the parent that wants to move and can't you feel controlled or restricted by the ex-spouse. If you are the parent that was left behind you feel angry, hurt and resentful that your children have been taken away from you. In the middle of the two extremes are the kids that feel that they are being put in the position of having to "pick" a parent, even if they are not asked directly to do so.

The Courts

Currently in Canadian courts there are several points that are considered by a Judge prior to making the decision to allow a parent to move away or restricting the areas that they can move to. The Canadian Courts tend to resist the notion that one parent should be solely responsible for determining where the child or children should live. The Courts work on the principle that parents should either mutually decide what is in the best interests of the child or have the case heard by a Court and have a decision made that focuses on the best interests of the child or children.

There are many different factors that can influence this decision. They may include:

* Wage earning potentials/lifestyle improvement for the children
* Special services or needs of the children
* Financial ability to travel by both parents
* Interests of the children
* Educational interest of the children
* Quality of life issues for the children

The Court evaluates each case on its merits and previous rulings in similar situations. A mediated or negotiated settlement is often reached in these cases if both parents and children can somehow get their needs met. Creative solutions can be developed from these mediations, and there is not as much of a sense of losing or winning. The focus tends to shift from the parents in combat to the parents wanting the best for their children. Once this shift occurs, a resolution can be developed. If a resolution cannot be made, a Court will make the determination.

Understanding technology post-harvesting

When it comes to processing perishable crops, what is done to the crops the moment they are uprooted from the ground determines the final quality of the said crop, to a very large extent. As the name suggests, the act of processing the crop ( Dusting, sorting, cleaning and packing the crops) after the harvest, is called Post harvesting. It becomes a critical part in processing perishable food crops because these crops have a tendency to deteriorate from the moment they are uprooted from the farms. Processed food items, fresh farm produce or whatever it is that the crop ought to be sold for, the out put of the post harvesting technology largely determines the caliber of the processed food crop.

Though it might seem like an obvious thing to do post harvesting the crop, it is still a difficult task to be achieved either due to lack of awareness or due to the lack of infrastructure. Post harvest usually consists of cleaning up of the crops, removing moisture and bringing down the pace of the chemical reactions that usually occur then. These chemical reactions can also occur, in some cases, when two crops are stored together, given a particular temperature. To avoid this and also to streamline the post harvesting operations a lot of expensive equipment has to be put in place like complicated sorting, packing, storing and facilities for moving perishable crops about in storage areas are duly put in place, more so, if we are talking about a fully functional industrial size which comes equipped with conveyor belts for moving these crops around, cold-storage facilities, atmosphere-controllable storage equipment and advanced sorting and harvesting machinery.

The above mentioned sophisticated equipment, coupled with state-of-the-art technology managed efficiently with superbly trained staff should be able to battle with the time constrained challenge of being able to produce the best quality output, especially with regards to the perishable food crops and hence becomes an important element in the food processing chain.

Be it your home garden which delivers some kind of perishables or an industrial unit, a few things have to be considered carefully and attended to. Firstly, the crops need to be culled (removal of damaged crop elements). Secondly, the perishables need to be cooled immediately and maintained at that temperature to avoid further possible degradation of crops and finally, the crops have to be handled expertly and with care.

Diving on koh tao in thailand

Scuba diving is by far the biggest attraction on Ko Tao, and it is easy, fun, and you will see a lot of fish, perhaps even turtles, stingrays, barracuda, reef sharks, and even a whale shark if you get lucky

You will get good diving weather on Koh Tao apart from November, when the sea is choppy, and visibility is poorer than normal. The visibility can be over 40 metres during the rest of the year.

You will find a lot of dive operators on the island, and some of them offer accommodation. Just beware that when you read the accommodation is free, it’s not really, because they will offer discounts if you stay somewhere else.

In 2006 you will pay in the region of 10,000 bht for a PADI open water certificate, and this should include the new PADI training manual, proper professional instruction, rental equipment, boat dives etc. This may include insurance and basic accommodation, but shop around, and remember the methods of instruction may differ enormously.

A few hints include avoiding shops that use swimming pools to teach you in. You’ll find it cold, boring, and unhygienic, bearing in mind this is a very popular diving island, and they will have literally hundreds of students .

Choose one that will take you to a private beach so you will see fish and coral right away, it is a lot more interesting, and you will probably get more dives!!

It’s also a good idea to find a dive shop that has its own private pier, so you won’t have to climb over other boats at the pier, although you won’t be carrying your dive gear, that should be carried by a Dive Master Trainee. In addition you ought to ask how many students there will be in your group, because there should not be more than a small handful, if they tell you there will be more than ten then look elsewhere. You want personal tuition for something as important as this, and you want your course to be really enjoyable.

If you are looking for specific dive shops, this list whilst by no means exhaustive, is at least a starting point.

1. Coral Grand . Located in a much quieter area than the other dive shops, at the far end of the beach, the hotel is more upmarket than most on the island although the 'free' rooms are still basic. Operates 2 dive boats plus a speed boat.

2. Divepoint . Located in Mae Haad on the waterfront. Divepoint has probably the nicest dive boat on the island, big enough that you won't have to carry your gear to and from it. PADI and SSI.

3. Easy Divers. Fantastic Dive Shop with really experienced instructors. Professional and fun with great accommodation. Based right in the heart of Ko Tao.

4. IDC Ko Tao. Instructor development courses (IDC's) run every month by English PADI Course Director Matt Bolton.

5. Phoenix Divers. Right on Sairee Beach, has good boats, new gear and multilingual often western staff.

6. Stingray Divers. Very modern dive resort overlooking Chalok Ban Khao Bay.

Hope this information helps you to have great diving experience on Koh Tao

Aromatherapy myth or reality

The origin of aroma therapy can be traced back to pre historic period, in the countries of ancient Egypt, Far East and China. The concept aims at the holistic treatment of the human body by making use of the immensely useful essential oils obtained from various herbs and plants.

The essential oils are normally obtained from the various parts of specific plants extracted by distillation and applied along with diluters such as almond oil, coconut oil etc. The oil content in these plants is so low that it takes huge quantities of plant parts to yield smaller quantities of essential oil, to cite an example around 440 ponds of fresh lavender flowers are required to produce a meager 2.5 pounds of essential lavender oil. That makes this product very dear.

The use of these essential oils is a part of ones life style and they takes care of the health and well being of the entire family. These oils have since become very popular in various parts of the world . Though the aromatic plants used to produce these essential oils were known and put to use since time immemorial the term ‘aroma therapy’ is of recent origin, to be precise from the early 90s only. Let us examine the use of these plants as a scent to alters one’s mood, the general atmosphere in one’s surroundings and to have a feeling of goodness.

It’s a fact that not only the natural scents serve the above purpose but also by the artificial ones. However the minute difference lies in the most natural fragrance of this nature packed oils that when used gives us a wonderful feeling.

The fairy tales behind the aroma therapy like the claim of its power to cure the cancer or the depression are all packed in mystery. No certified or scientific study has been undertaken on these tall claims the plants are supposed to possess. Even natural health experts treat it as a complimentary therapy only. Aromatherapy belongs to branches of conventional medicines or systems that are not subject to any serious study or research leading to any standardization or certification. This branch of herbal science can be used in various applications like in enhancing the beauty of skin and hair, and also on its influence on one’s moods and feelings known as aromacology. Thirdly its medicinal properties is said to cure or prevent ailments. However the best use of the therapy is said to be its wholesome benefit for the body, mind and the spirit.

Between the fantasized divinity attributed for this herbal science and the sheer neglect of this concept as a magnified traditional culture, lies the real truth of this revived ancient science that can be effectively used to get the best out of the herbal plants, hitherto neglected by the civilized society.

Teen chat 4 steps to have a great body image

Hi Teens:

If we were to do a survey that asked how many of us feel happy with our bodies, what percentage do you think would answer, “I am happy with how my body looks?”

Research done about body image shows that women are much more critical of their appearance than men. They are much less likely to like what they see in the mirror. Eight out of ten women will be dissatisfied with their reflection, and more than half may see a distorted image.* Young women need more self-confidence and self-esteem in themselves.

Young people these days are bombarded with media messages every day. We watch TV shows and movies with perfect looking actors, and we read fashion magazines picturing top models.

How can we not end up feeling inadequate? We compare our looks with actors and models, and then we feel awful because we aren't as skinny, or don't have the same straight nose, or the same hair, or big eyes, etc.

What we don't know is how many plastic surgery procedures the models may have gone through, how the photos are touched up and airbrushed, and how many actors and models feel the need to starve to maintain their demanded body weight. The models appear to have it all because of their looks, but do we really know if they are happy? Would you be happy if millions of people were judging your body on screen or in magazines? Would you be happy if you could rarely eat?

No wonder there are so many ads for weight loss wonder pills and instant diet plans. We see before and after pictures that lead us to believe that our lives will be perfect if we can only lose the weight. Then we will be beautiful, right?

Again, what the media doesn't tell us is that many of the people in those miracle weight loss commercials are paid quite handsomely to lose weight, and are even using other methods beside the product advertised. Also, they don't tell us how many of these people gain the weight back and then some after the diet is over.

These companies spend millions of dollars on marketing to figure out new ways of attracting people to their product. Be aware of the big, bad advertising monsters who make you feel as if you have to look a certain way to be a worthwhile person.

Another big influence can be your friends and family members who are overweight and will tell that you need to lose weight as well. The question you may ask is, if they need to lose weight, why do you also need to lose weight? Do they want you to be unhappy with your body? It seems as if the pressure to be skinny never ends.

Unfortunately, excessive and prolonged dieting can lead to eating disorders.

Overeating is usually caused by emotions. You may notice that when you feel tired, angry, or lonely, you reach for a cookie or another slice of pizza.

Next time you eat, ask yourself the question, “Am I eating because I feel hungry, or is there another reason?”

Eat a variety of foods, and make fruits and veggies part of your daily food intake. If you are not already doing so, find a sport that you enjoy. It might take a few tries for you to find one that fits you best, but keep looking. Being physically active will help you feel better about your body.

Unfortunately, some sports nowadays do cost a lot of money, which can create a big problem for teens. If that is the case, there are other ways to keep your body fit. Go for walks with your dog (or your friends), go bicycling, play Frisbee, jump rope, just get moving. Even mowing the lawn is good exercise, and you may also be able to charge for it and make some money on the side!

4 Steps to Have a Great Body Image - more self-confidence/self-esteem for women – The End * Social Issues Research Centre This article is part of the Teenacity Teen Chat Guide “Get what you want and break free” – 6 ways to help you unleash your greatness no matter what your life is like now!

Retractable tonneau covers

Retractable tonneau covers are a highly sought after tonneau cover on the market today. The price range on these tonneau covers are among the highest for tonneau covers but with good reason.

They usually are manufactured with aluminum panels. Some are painted with a very durable powder coat finish. This is a very tough paint system which holds up to protect the tonneau from the elements. Others have a powder coated frame and hardware but the aluminum slats or panels are laminated with weather proof padded polymer to give the cover a leather look.

All these retractable tonneau covers glide along rails which are usually clamped along the top of the truck box rails. The cover rolls up into a canister which is located behind the cab of the pickup truck. The cover usually has spring tension on it to help with opening and closing the tonneau.

They are constructed to withstand a snow-load and water is directed into the side-rails and then to the canister and out of your truck box through drain hoses. They pretty much have the same basic design.

These retractable tonneau covers really look sharp on the back of a pickup truck and save you fuel at the pumps. They are pretty lightweight and allow the wind to pass over them rather than hitting against the tailgate causing a drag.

They protect your cargo from thieves in a couple of ways. They usually lock at the back to protect your cargo from thieves and they also just keep your cargo out of the eyes of people who like to take things that don’t belong to them. The hidden factor alone is a great asset for the tonneau cover owner.

The retractable tonneau covers also protects your cargo from weather conditions such as rain and snow. Your cargo is also protected from ripping winds caused from higher speeds. This is especially great if you are carrying delicate cargo such as plants. These covers are great when you need to carry larger, taller loads as you can open them up very quickly and easily giving you complete access to your truck bed.

If you are looking for a tonneau cover that opens and closes easily, looks great, saves fuel, has locking capability, completely opens for complete access to your truck bed, maybe you should have a look at the retractable tonneau covers.

Control endometriosis and overcome depression

Depression is common among women who are trying to manage and control endometriosis. For many years, women ignored their symptoms and just tried to get on with their lives, while the very real problem of depression that goes hand-in-hand with endometriosis was ignored. As a result, many women turn on themselves, feeling guilty for not being able to cope with their emotional and physical pain.

Are drugs to blame for depression?

One of the best sources of relief from pain caused by endometriosis is medical therapy. To control endometriosis, contraceptives that are high in progestin and low in estrogen are sometimes prescribed. This type of birth control pill reduces or even stops the menstrual period, and has been shown to prevent endometrial tissue outside of the uterine wall from growing. While side effects such as headaches, nausea and depression are mostly mild, they may be more pronounced in some women.

High-progestin pills help control endometriosis, but they tend to cause depression and bloating. Women also cannot expect to use these types of pills as a long term treatment because they can weaken bone density. As an alternative, some experts believe that IUDs containing progestin may be a better way to control endometriosis symptoms.

If depression is a side effect of a certain drug, a patient can ask her doctor to prescribe a lower dose, or change the prescription to something she can tolerate. There is no reason for any woman to try and tolerate a medication that is causing her to feel depressed – no matter how good the medication is if it is causing depression as a side effect it won’t be an effective solution in the long run.

When Drugs Aren’t Enough

When depression as a result of endometriosis is severe, medication can only do so much. Other options need to be considered and discussed with your doctor. A second option may also prove very helpful.

You should know that without surgery, endometriosis tends to be a chronic condition with symptoms varying in severity from one woman to the next. If medication is not enough to control the symptoms, relief from depression may come from one-on-one psychotherapy or group therapy. Many women find talking to other people highly therapeutic, and having their minds distracted (if only for a while) helps relieve pain and prevent depression.

There are also some alternative therapies that may be used to control endometriosis and depression. Aromatherapy, for example, is widely used for its therapeutic properties. Women suffering from depression caused by endometriosis can seek relief in aromatherapy treatments that not only heal the body but also relax the mind. The feeling of well-being that aromatherapy produces is very helpful in controlling both endometriosis and depression.

Keep reading to find out more on dealing with depression and to sign up for our free newsletter on tackling the symptoms and side effects of endometriosis naturally.

Another alternative treatment is homeopathy, which seeks to heal the individual and not just his specific ailment. It can be a very effective way to treat depression as a result of endometriosis without resorting to drugs.

Seeking Outside Help

It is important that in order to control depression caused by endometriosis, a woman build a support network of family and friends who will be able to empathize with her. Isolating herself from other people will do more harm than good, possibly causing a mild depression to develop into something more severe.

Speak to your doctor about getting a referral to a specialist therapist, someone who has experience of either woman’s medical issues or has dealt with patients with chronic pain before.

To control endometriosis, it is as important to control the emotional effects as well as the physical ones to allow a life where pain and discomfort are effectively managed.

Bbc banned music top singles banned by the bbc

The British Broadcasting Corporation also known as the BBC is a public broadcasting corporation. Therefore, it allows itself to ban materials that deviate from certain standards of civility. During the years, many singles that were seen as too explicit, distasteful or bear the potential for offending the British public were banned from BBC airplay. Here you can read about some of them.

In 1977, when England was celebrating the Queens Jubilee, the Sex Pistols had released their second single titled God Save the Queen. The single includes controversial lyrics that rhyme the national anthem title with fascist regime. Moreover, the record cover displayed a picture of the Queen with a safety pin stuck in her nose.

The single was found to offensive to be air played by the BBC, but it did not stop it from reaching number two on the BBC official singles chart. According to the myth, God Save the Queen was the top selling single in the UK at the time, but it was held back of number one to avoid controversies.

Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin scandalous duet Je TAime ... Moi Non Plus, translated: I love you... me neither, was the first ever number one hit to be banned by the BBC. Although at the time of its release, in 1969, the sexual revolution was celebrated, the British radio still was not able to cope with such explicit lyrics, not to mention Birkins moans and groans.

The BBC ban and The Vatican denounce, did not stop Je TAime ... Moi Non Plus from being a top selling single in the UK and worldwide. In October 7, 1969, the single reached number one in the BBC official singles chart. At the same time, it had reached number 69 at the US singles chart.

Je TAime ... Moi Non Plus was a major influence on another BBC banned single, Donna Summers disco pioneer from 1976 titled Love to Love You Baby. After counting 23 faked orgasms performed by Summer in Love to Love You Baby, the British Broadcasting Corporation banned the song. However, it did not stop it from becoming a massive hit. Love to Love You Baby reached number four on the UK single charts but peaked to number two on the Billboard pop chart.

Relax by Frankie Goes to Hollywood is one of the most controversial singles as well as commercially successful singles in history. The BBC did not only ban the song it also did not stop BBC Radio 1 DJ Mike Read to publicly express his feelings of disgust from the single's explicit lyrics. In 1984, Relax stayed in the UK singles charts for 42 weeks. In five of them, it stayed in number one. By the end of 1984, embarrassed Auntie Beeb removed the ban. Relax is still very popular worldwide and it is one of the most recognized symbols of the era. The arguments on whether it gained such a huge success despite the BBC ban or the BBC ban helped promoting it have not been settled yet.

Paul McCartney and the Wings response to the 1972 Bloody Sunday events titled Give Ireland Back to the Irish, was banned by every media resource in the UK. It was forbidden from being broadcast by the BBC, Radio Luxembourg and the Independent Television Authority. In addition, the song title was not allowed to be pronounced on the air, so when it arrived to the BBC Radio 1 chart show it was presented as a record by the group Wings. However, Give Ireland Back to the Irish hit the top of the Irish singles charts.

No medical life insurance

When applying for life insurance many life insurance companies require you to answer medical related questions and / or to undergo a medical examination as part of the application process. These medical examinations are often required as proof of your health status as given on your application form. They are used by the life insurance companies to help them decide upon the insurance premium you'll be charged for your life cover, and in some instances, as to whether you will be given life insurance at all.

Life insurance products where intensive medical questioning and / or a medical examination is required effectively penalise you for pre-existing medical conditions, pushing up the cost of life cover. Taking a medical examination may also prove stressful, especially for the elderly who are looking for life insurance coverage later on in life.

Increasingly though, life insurance companies are offering life insurance products where no medical is required. What's more some life companies even guarantee acceptance before you apply!

What is no medical life insurance?

No medical life insurance, to use a well-known phrase, does exactly what it says on the tin! It is a life insurance product where no medical examination is required. You may not even have to answer medical questions and yet still be guaranteed acceptance for life insurance. No medical life insurance is open to people of all ages, so whether you're 20 or 65, no medical life insurance can give you the peace of mind that your loved ones will be financially secure in the event of your death during the term of the life insurance policy.

You may be questioning the ethics of such a life insurance scheme at this point? If you are don't worry! No medical life insurance is all above board, and is in fact offered by some of the most well-known insurance companies in the UK. Even supermarkets like Tesco for instance now have a no medical insurance policy available for the over 60s.

The premiums on life insurance where no medical is required are competitive too. Life cover can be acquired for as little as Ј7 per month, with some life companies guaranteeing that the insurance premiums on no medical policies will not rise through the life of the policy. Of course, how much you pay into the life insurance policy each month will affect the final life insurance total available upon death. Generally, there are no issues involved with increasing the life insurance premiums later on of your own accord should you wish to do so.

Park your garage sales on the internet

You have been planning your garage sale for weeks now. Your garage, as well as you whole home, is stuffed with old records, books, clothing, vacuum sweepers, and other odds and ends that you have no use for anymore. Instead of just tossing your clutter into the neighborhood landfill, you’ve decided to hold one of the most time-honored traditions in civilization—the garage (or yard) sale. It can be a thankless task, becoming a pawnbroker for a day, but there’s definitely good money in it—if you know how and, more importantly, where to organize your garage sale.

First, of course, you need to get your sales items together. Garage sales are a great way to recycle stuff that you no longer have room for. You’d be surprised what doodads and miscellany your neighbors will want—musty books, old silver wear, framed photos of long-lost third cousins, and other unmentionables that you’ve had no use for since who knows when. Even more surprising, your neighbors are willing to shell out cold hard cash for these items. That makes your garage sale a win-win proposition for you.

Come to think of it, though, a garage sale at your home can be a real chore. It takes a Herculean effort to collect and organize every last little thing you want to sell. Then you have to tag each item and keep track of it in a hardcopy log. To ensure that your neighbors show up with cash in hand, you must create, print up, and pay for flyers, which need to be distributed on telephone poles and supermarket message boards across the region. The work can seem endless and your chances of making a profit slim.

Don’t get me wrong. Your garage sale was a great idea, but as you can see, there are many limitations to holding one at your house the old-fashioned way. Get with the times. The garage sale has evolved thanks to the multitude of Web sites that allow you to sell your goods online. People are selling more stuff than ever on the Internet because of the convenience of Web classified sites.

The Internet holds several crucial advantages over selling your stuff the outdated way. When you compare these benefits to the problems with home-based garage sales, you’ll see the difference:

ONLINE: Your items are available for purchase for an unlimited time, until they sell.

AT HOME: Your items are available until you call it quits for the night.

ONLINE: Rain, sleet, or snow, your sales aren’t affected in the least.

AT HOME: Better have a rain date or a very big umbrella.

ONLINE: No need to constantly watch over your goods or interact with uninterested customers. Just wait until a customer contacts you by e-mail when they are ready to purchase.

AT HOME: Be prepared for countless hours of staring down the street for customers to appear. When they do arrive, be prepared for too many questions but too few purchases.

ONLINE: Advertise for free to your friends and neighbors over e-mail.

AT HOME: Shell out money for flyers, after which you can get to know all of the telephone poles in your neighborhood.

ONLINE: Spend your weekends the way they were meant to be: relaxing and enjoying your time with friends and family.

AT HOME: Spend your weekend waking up early, buying and distributing flyers, lugging boxes, and waiting for customers.

As you can see, it’s not an even match. An online garage sale wins hands down.

Now that you’re actually excited to get started with your garage sale, you should know that there is one caveat. As easy as it may seem, your online garage sale will be even easier if you choose the right classified site.

Your best bet is to do your research and find classified sites with the most features and benefits, such as

(1) No sign-up, registration, or transaction fees.

(2) Free ad listing with text description and pictures.

(3) Long-term ad posting and free renewals.

(4) Easy, accurate, electronic, and automatic record keeping.

The best classified sites have these incredible features and then some. Not only will you be able to clean out your home’s clutter with the help of these classified sites. Your garage sale will also park a profit in your pocket.

The untold secret to explode your adsense clickthrough rate

A lot us who are into adsense business know that to increase adsense earning potential, we got to increase that clickthrough rate.

But just how many of you have come across articles or websites teaching you about increasing your adsense clickthrough rate, talking about the same thing?

A lot right?

They tell you about blending your ads into the background, using text ads rather than image ads, reducing other advertisement distraction, upper fold ads placement and yada yada yada….

While these tactics are not wrong and in fact might help you to increase the adsense earnings in the long run, but nonetheless, there is another method that can be implemented which will work like gangbuster.

This method simply requires you to deploy videos into your web pages.

And yes, you would employ the use of videos alongside your adsense pages!

In this method, what you need to do is to source out good relevant content videos from either youtube. com or video. google. com.

Getting the videos onto your web pages is just the matter of copy and paste the object codes onto your html source.

For instance, if you were to source out video content from youtube, you can highlight and copy the embedding codes from the “embed” column on the top right corner.

Then you would paste the codes onto your web pages and voila you’ll instantly have great content along side with multimedia rich videos.

But the real secret doesn’t just stop here. You have to make the right placement for better clickthrough rate.

I would suggest that you modify the video border width and height from the codes to match with a 250X250 adsense ads which are place side by side with the video.

A great example of such usage is shown below tips. com. my/Article/The-Benefits-of-Getting-a-Wedding-Planner/28659

From the example above, you can see not only the page provide good content about the subject, but also the corresponding video on top of the page. Then the adsense ads which are residing next to the video are shown which aptly complement the whole subject.

This video usage was known to have increased the clickthrough rate as much as 100%.

Try it yourself and always remember to test the placement on your websites.

Loving you

:
The difficulty in finding love that is good for you stems from the same difficulty you have loving yourself. For those who believe in God or a higher power, to not love yourself is to not love the very source of your existence. To not trust yourself is to not trust the source of all life. To not forgive and have compassion for yourself is to not have forgiveness and compassion for others created from the same source. What is this source? Call it what you will, all matter comes from energy and all energy comes from Source. Leave the scientists and religious thought leaders left to their devices to try and explain that. You focus on your relationship, to self and to source.

As we become more fully embracing of ourselves, having the intimate relationship that acknowledges the dark and light of who you are, you will bring more love into your life. Loving is vulnerable and the challenge is to be vulnerable to oneself first. It's a scary place to go. After all, we've all heard enough criticism and judgement from others throughout our lives about who we are, what we do wrong, and what we don't accomplish. When you have a dear friend who is being so self-critical, do you encourage and affirm that criticism or do you remind them that they're human just like everyone else? Do you tell them to be gentle with themselves, thereby empowering them to try again? As I recall, I didn't just hop on a bike the very first time and start riding like a pro. It took some practice and a few falls and scrapes. For that matter, after years of riding a bicycle, I still managed to have some rather nasty falls and run into parked cars when I wasn't looking.

If you'll be that supportive in your expression of love and compassion to another person, why wouldn't you give yourself the same courtesy? Owning your power is to not give it up, to not give it away. Keep working it, keep learning, keep falling, keep picking yourself up, keep laughing, and keep going. Life's just like that, so find the humor, the joy, the laughter and say piss-off to failure. Failure only happens when you give up completely. Tiredness is something you create through negative thinking and self-criticism. Find energy in your optimism and your thirst for adventure and the journey of learning that life brings to you.

It's a question of perspective. It's all in the vibe baby.

Getting around paris with public transports metro rer and velib

Aйroport Charles de Gaulle, (27kms from the city) is Paris main international airport receiving flights from the world over. Roissy Rail is the quickest way to the city. From there, you can take a free shuttle bus from the airport terminal to the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle RER (commuter rail) station. If you are arriving at the Aйroport d’Orly (16kms southwest of the city) which handles mostly domestic and European flights, your quickest option is the Orly Rail to the Left Bank. You can take a free shuttle bus to the Ponte de Rungis-Aиroport d'Orly RER station (C2 line) and get a train to the city. These trains run every 15 min.

Once in the City, then the games ain’t be easier! A piece of cake, so to say. The various lines, which make up France's railway system, all meet in the centre of Paris, at Chatelet-Les-Halles, the largest metropolitan station in the world. Paris' metropolitan is the best way to travel around the city. The system's 14 lines cover the whole of the Paris area. They say that no point in Paris is more than 500m from a stop. Free metro maps are available at all tourist information centres and metro stations. A single ticket anywhere on the metro and zone one on the RER is Ђ1.30 (2006) . A carnet of ten tickets is Ђ9.30 and works out cheaper (2006).

If you are there for any length of time buy a weekly Travel Card or monthly Carte Orange (Ђ15 in 2006). They are valid for travel on all forms of public transport and for unlimited rides. Avoid to be late at night at these stations: Chatelet, Chateau Rouge in Montmatre, Gare du Nord, Strasbourg-Saint Denis, Rиaumur-Sиbastopol and Montparnasse-Bienvenue.

Alternatively there’s the bus service which is also efficient and operates from 5:30am to 1am. Bus routes are indicated on the RATP maps (free from tourist agencies). Tickets can be bought from the driver but must be validated in the machine onboard. A night service called Noctambus operates after the underground from 1am till 5.50am with 18 lines terminating at Chвtelet.

Another interesting ecologic transport now available in Paris is the Velib, a newly implemented self-service "bicycle transit system". Considering that the city of Paris has over 371 km (230 miles) of cycling lanes, riding in Paris is simple and economic. Citizens and visitors are able to pick up and drop off bicycles throughout the city at 1451 locations.

There is a wide offer of up to 20,600 bikes with a Velib’ station approximately every 900 feet! Accessing the bikes couldn’t be easier also! Users can select a one-day card for 1 euro, a weekly card for 5 euros or an annual card for 29 euros. Once purchased the access card, riding for the first half-hour is free and a supplement of 1 euro will be charged for an additional half-hour, 2 euros for another 30-minutes and 4 euros for every addition half-hour after that. Example: a 25 minute trip = 0 euros, a 50 minute trip = 1 euro, an hour and 15-minute ride = 3 euros. In this way they wish to implement the use of the bike for little or brief journeys. To Try!

After a long day cycling or getting op-off buses and metro, you will be probably looking for a nice place to rest and a good place to have dinner. Regarding Paris accommodation, well there are many choices from budget to expencive ones. We believe there are some with a good price-quality ratio that can satisfy many travellers.

From the Blue Planet youth hostel, to a secret small studio in Place de Vichi, to boutique hotels offering colourful rooms, fresh ambience and private gardens where to enjoy breakfast. Prices range from 30-50 euros per person at Cecil hotel, Bac Saint Germain (in Latin quarter) or the Hotel du Parc Saint Charles. Taylor hotel, Des Artes hotel, Altona hotel, Mon Reve Hotel where they privilege amore familiar ambience and service.

For a typical French dinner you may try Chartier, an old metro station adapted to be a restaurant very nice and warm atmosphere. Frequented by locals and tourists. The food is good. Not excellent, but good and whatever you choose, it arrives in relatively generous portions in a matter of minutes. The list of wines is on the reasonable side of cheap. Be ready to wait as no reservations are taken ! (7, rue du Faubourg Montmartre; ph. +33 01.47.70.86.29. Open every day from 11:30am -3pm/ 6pm-10 pm).

Focus on others to feel better yourself - 5 kindness motivation tips

:
Focus on Others to Feel Better Yourself -

Many times we can be guilty of focusing mostly on our troubles and worries. It can become an effort to do the everyday things like washing dishes, mowing the lawn, feeding the kids a decent meal. Is there a way to overcome these feelings that keep us down and unwilling to do the things we need to do? Is there a way to get back on track emotionally and make a difference at the same time?

One surefire way to get your mind off your troubles and to make a difference is to stop focusing on yourself and focus instead on someone else and their needs. There are countless people who very seldom receive any kindness or thoughtful treatment; many who need to know they matter to someone; many who need to know someone cares. You can make a difference and lift your spirits all at one time!

Once you've decided to take this step, what do you do? Below are five kindness motivation tips from the e-book, "101 Ways to Change the World".

1. Everyone needs friendship (even you).

  • Spend an afternoon with someone you know is lonely and don't make it just a one-time visit.

  • Decide to drop by on a regular basis.

  • Send them notes.

  • Become a lifeline for just that one person.

  • 2. Find a kid who needs to know they matter - unfortunately, there are way too many of them.

  • Determine to make that kid know someone believes they are special.

  • Send a card or note every week (at least).

  • If you know what they are interested in, send them articles about it.

  • Send stories that will build self-confidence and inspire them to be all they can be.

  • Most of all let them know you care. Imagine how much it means to feel special - especially to a child who seldom receives any kindness, small gifts or hugs.

  • 3. Share flowers or vegetables from your garden

  • Take some to an elderly neighbor who can no longer garden.

  • Take some to a friend going through a hard time.

  • Drop them off at a neighbor's house 'just because'.

  • 4. Become an email Pen Pal with someone - it is so easy to send daily e-mails in order to make a difference in someone's life. You could email:

  • A kid in a detention enter

  • Someone in a Nursing Home

  • Someone with special needs who can't leave home

  • A foster child

  • Kids in an orphanage

  • 5. Put gift certificates in a special card or note. Go to your local:

  • Bowling alley

  • Skating rink

  • Amusement park, etc.

  • Ask them to give you free coupons you can share with kids who need to know that someone cares and who need a little kindness.

  • Many of the bad things happening in our world are done by people who never believed they mattered. No one took the time to show kindness or let them know they are special. Just one act - changing a person's anger and sadness with your love - can have a far-reaching impact!

Use these five kindness motivation tips to start your own ideas flowing. For even more motivational tips, down load "101 Ways to Change the World" at 101WaysSeries. com. Shopping down under

The Australian shopping experience offers a vast range of both imported and locally-made goods.

Local products include the inevitable toy koalas, kangaroos and wombats. But many local fashion designers are making names for themselves. In tune with the laid back 'Down Under' lifestyle, Aussie designs tend to be more casual and comfortable than those from Europe. Notable local brands include Sass and Bide, Carla Zampatti, Jag, and Adele Palmer.

Locally-mined opals are one of the best buys in Australia but you really need to know what you're doing when shopping for any kind of gemstone.

And of course if you're after serious Aboriginal art or just a boomerang or didgeridoo, Australia's the place to go.

    Shopping In Sydney

Downtown Sydney is home to the standard retails outlets. For department stores, the two major names are David Jones and Myer. David Jones is the largest, selling goods ranging from the latest fashions to designer furniture.

For more individual wares you have to head to Paddington, Glebe and Newtown, home to distinctive boutiques showcasing the threads of local designers, along with jumble shops and markets for penny-pinchers. Oxford Street is the domain of myriad fashionable clothing outlets featuring the creations of the city's most avant-garde designers.

A must visit is the Queen Victoria Building which houses a delightful Victorian shopping arcade offering four levels of male and female fashion items in 200 boutiques.

    Shopping In Melbourne

Melbourne is acknowledged to be Australia's shopping capital. It is home to grand fashion houses, department stores, fascinating souvenir shops, and glorious arcades.

The arcades are one of Melbourne's treasures. The finest is the Block Arcade home to over 30 businesses such as the historic Hopetoun Tearooms. Another gem is the Royal Arcade and don't miss the massive Melbourne Central shopping complex between Latrobe and Lonsdale streets.

Other Melbourne shopping attractions include South Yarra featuring Australian fashions, and Toorak Road for high-priced, brand names such as Gucci.

For the more thrifty shopper, head to one of the thousands of retail shops and factory outlets. They're spread around Melbourne especially on Bridge Road and Swan Street. Here you can pick up designer clothes, perhaps last season's top picks, for just pennies on the dollar.

    Shopping In Brisbane

Australia's third-largest city boasts a broad array of shopping outlets gracing its tropical landscape. Brisbane's shopping scene is centered on Queen Street Mall which houses around 500 retail outlets.

Queensland's own fashion creations are on sale at the Brisbane Arcade. The nearby Broadway on the Mall and MacArthur Central offer a wide range of gifts and accessories and designer labels and Swiss watches.

But for an authentic Brisbane shopping scene, you have to head to one of the city's many markets. Valley Markets is the place for alternative and retro fashion. It's open on weekends from 8 am to 4 pm On Friday nights, the South Bank Art and Craft Markets come to life with its stocks of handicrafts.

    Cheap home loan

Cheap Home Loans: What is an APR?

"APR" is one of the most misunderstood terms in the world of home mortgages. While you might know that it means "Annual Percentage Rate", you may not know that it includes more than the interest rate. APR is a figure used to determine the yearly cost of a new home loan including all other fees like points, origination fees, and lending fees. A lot see this as something hidden yet it is a clear amount being paid on mortgage.

Years ago, it was hard to determine the total cost of a home mortgage without reading all of the fine print or using a sophisticated mortgage calculator. While one lender might offer you a 7.50% interest rate and another offers you 6.00%, the better deal isn't so obvious. Overall, the 6.00% loan could be much more expensive with all of additional fees.

The federal government requires lenders to quote APR because loans frequently are offered on different terms. To extend the inevitable fruit analogy, differing loan terms from different lenders can make it hard to figure out which offer is a sour persimmon and which is a real peach. APR helps you identify the peaches.

    APR's are Your Friend

To address deceptive marketing tactics, the federal government enacted the Truth in Lending Act, which required that lenders advertise and make explicit the Annual Percentage Rate associated with their new home loans. The upshot is that APRs are your friend; they allow you to compare offers from different lenders on a level playing field.

However, the APR system is not perfect. In some cases the Annual Percentage Rate won't include extra fees such as title insurance and appraisal. In general, the best method for loan shopping is to ask for a good-faith estimate, which details all costs and gives you a total estimated cost of the loan using a mortgage calculator.

APR takes into account some costs of getting the loan, including points, most loan fees and mortgage insurance. It does not take into account certain charges, including non-refundable application fees, late payment charges, title insurance premiums, and fees for title examination, property appraisals and document preparation.

Home Loans - Do Your Research

The important thing to remember is that the APR is a good basis for comparison between new home loan offers. When you get further in the process, you can dig deeper to get yourself the best deal possible.

    Planning for moving house

    :
If you have just bought or are considering buying a new home, then you will also need to plan the process of moving home. While there are many things that you have to remember, planning them in advance will make the whole move easier and less traumatic. So it is a good idea that, as soon as you know the completion date for your move, that you start planning.

There are certain things that take quite a bit of time and should be arranged at least a month in advance. You will want to inform your landlord or any flatmates, if you have any, of the date that you are leaving. This can mean the difference between getting your deposit back or not, if you are renting, so it’s a good idea to let everyone know your plans as soon as you know them yourself.

You should probably also inform the gas and electricity companies of your knew property that you are the new owner. By doing this, it can avoid mix-ups later on. This would also include calling your telephone company and arranging to have your phone number transferred.

You can start packing up your things or getting boxes together. There are some things like books and photos that can be packed in advance and will save you hassle later on when the move gets closer. You may want to book some time of work, especially if you don’t think you’re going to be able to arrange the move in a weekend. Another good idea is to have a clearout and get rid of some old things that have been gathering dust. In fact, moving is the perfect chance to get rid of some of the belongings that accumulate over the years.

As the move gets closer you should book the removal company and arrange for transit insurance if you decide you need it. You can tell the post office to redirect your mail and you can also notify the local authority of the change in address for council tax purposes.

You should make sure that all your utility bills are paid up by the date of the move. You don’t want the new owners to be hounding you for unpaid bills once you’ve moved and now is the time to make sure they are accurate. If you have services like milk deliveries, newspaper deliveries and the like you should have these cancelled.

The seventh jewel - book review

The Seventh Jewel is a fantasy-adventure fiction geared for youth (ages 11 and up). J. J. Pritchard crammed several tantalizing elements in only 278 pages. The reader is taken on a journey that involves a treasure hunt, a noble quest and the discovery of an ancient civilization. The author touches upon family relationships, dealing with death and coming to terms with loosing a limb. The Seventh Jewel is also an educational book that brings up serious issues from poverty to discrimination. Mr. Pritchard’s approach to encourage readers to use his glossary of the ancient Inca language was very well done.

    J. J. Pritchard, author of 6 books including The Seventh Jewel, has participated in a climbing expedition in Peru. His first hand knowledge of Peru, global warming and ancient Inca history is shown by tasteful and accurate use of facts. He couples this with highly plausible events throughout the story, making this book very well rounded, unique and realistic.

There are four main characters: Emma, a gutsy and witty teenage amputee, teaches the reader understanding and respect for what amputees experience. I think she could be a role model for many readers. Joel, her brave 11-year-old brother, displays a loyal adventurous heart. Uncle Jake, a well-connected treasure hunter by trade, plays the part of a hero and protector during a few points in the story. Estrella, a beautiful professor, has a chip on her shoulder that begins to melt when she meets Uncle Jake. Her life long dream is to honor her people by discovering the mysterious jewel of the Ancient Inca.

They are all thrown together when scientists discover that knowledge of an extremely rare element may exist in the ancient records of the Inca. This element has the potential to combat global warming and it is worth an inconceivable amount of money. Because of this value, people of questionable character are attracted to treasure hunt – but they play by their own rules and answer to their own ethics.

The Seventh Jewel was an exceptional read. I highly encourage readers to pick up a copy of J. J. Pritchard’s latest book. You won’t be disappointed!

Las vegas how to ensure your vacation is full of adventure and kicks

    :
Las Vegas was for a long time the adults playground. Las Vegas was and is the gambling and drinking capitol of the world, and it was just about as Wild West as you could get in the twentieth century. But in the last 20 years Las Vegas has changed into a large amusement park for the whole family. There is such a wide variety of things to do inside and outside of Las Vegas apart from gambling, that it would be a shame to pass up the opportunity to see some of the beautiful sites around the area.

    1) Think location. A hotel that is located directly on the strip will end up being much higher in price than a hotel just off the strip. Really, glamour is nice, but saving a couple of extra hundred dollars in the long run will allow you the opportunity to do some great things that had not been originally accounted for.

    2) Outside of Las Vegas are some very nice deserts and mountains. Easy to get to and very close, it is nice to take a break from the gambling and partying to get out and visit a bit of nature. Finding a hotel that is close to the Strip but also close to all the nature reserves is a big bonus when you are not having a good time at the casino tables.

    3) Las Vegas is huge, and continues to grow, so trying to visit an amusement park on the outskirts from the Strip, may tend to be a bit difficult, so try to aim to be a little farther from all the traffic if you are not just gambling and are doing other fun things.

    4) When searching for a place to stay in Las Vegas, you will find that in just about any direction there will be hotels in which to stay, offering a drive of less than 10 minutes to the Strip plus there is free parking at most casinos on the Strip for when you are going to gamble.

    5) Think Entertainment! Check out the available shows during the time you are in Vegas. If you are lucky, you might get to see some of the greatest entertainers such as Jay Leno, Edwin Murphy, Sting, Bon Jovi, Celine Dion, Jeniffer Lopez, Shakira, Madonna and many many more for just a few dollars. Sometimes, you might get a ticket dirt-cheap if you only look around and ask. Since Vegas is relatively small, its worth your while to check out not just the shows that your hotel (however grand it is!) is planning for its customers, but also to check out those offered by the rest of the hotels in Las Vegas.

These are just a few things to keep in mind when traveling to Las Vegas. If you are traveling with the family, you will want to remember that Las Vegas and Nevada offer excellent hotels and casinos as well as some of the most undisturbed wildlife and nature reserves and fantastic camping in the area.

If you wish to find out more about the casinos in Las Vegas or the entertainment and different adventures you could take part in, go to gambling-portal. com for detailed reviews, explanations and hot tips.

Hard drive data recovery doesn t need to be hard

Hard drive data recovery can be a difficult topic for many new computer users. No one wants to believe that their data is lost, and most people have no idea how to get it back. Fortunately, there are data recovery services available that can help you with the overwhelming task of recovering your lost data. This article is intended to help you learn more about hard drive data recovery and how you can learn more.

A hard drive is a "non-volatile" storage space designed to hold data. The data is stored on a magnetic surface which is called a hard disk platter. There are many reasons why data can be lost from the hard drive, including the mechanics of the hard drive itself, and external problems. Most hard drives today have several moving parts which need to be carefully synchronized in order to maintain a constant spin rate, called RPM, inside your computer.

Modern hard drives have "SMART" technology, which stands for "self-monitoring, analysis, and reporting technology." All that means is that the computer will diagnose itself and be able to solve the majority of its problems, also that it corrects the motors and fans when needed, and lets you deal with using the computer instead of trying to maintain it.

In order to understand hard drive data recovery, it is essential to understand how data is lost from a hard drive. Let's define data loss as an unforeseen loss of data or information previously stored on your hard drive. Murphy's Law demonstrates only when it's too late that we should have been backing up our hard drive better. The best way to recover data is to never lose it in the first place, but that is a topic for a different article.

Data can be lost during a power failure, because there is unsaved data in the memory which is not yet been saved to the hard drive. Data can also be lost through a disk failure which can happen for a number of reasons, usually mechanical such as a crash in the hard drive machinery itself. Software can also crash on your computer, especially if you are using Microsoft products, and could lead to a loss of data on your hard drive. Viruses or other malicious software can corrupt your data and is one of the biggest reasons for data loss. Fortunately, today's technology provides a pretty good track record on recovering data from your hard drive.

The best thing to do is to look in your phone book or on the Internet for a local hard drive data recovery specialist. These are people who have been trained or have experience in recovering lost data and can be your best friends-especially in an emergency situation. There are many who specialize in hard drive data recovery and are happy to help you with your data recovery problems. The price they charge is normally a small price to pay if the alternative is losing your data forever.

Hiking traveling safely through challenging terrain

You can find package holidays to take you everywhere from a beach resort to a dude ranch to an outdoor wilderness adventure. If you anticipate traveling anytime soon and want to experience the great outdoors, you might want to consider hiking. If you are a beginner hiker, read some of the tips and techniques below to help get you started. Hiking is not simply a long walk.

Hiking through ordinary terrain requires that you maintain a steady pace for hours at a time, and do so with only short breaks each hour. This might not seem that bad, until you ad in creeks and steep, slipper slopes that can make hiking at a higher altitude seem nearly impossible. It surely isn’t impossible, but it does require certain techniques that must be adjusted according to the conditions you are in.

Walking on ordinary level terrain is usually done at a speed of two to four miles per hour at which pace you can burn anywhere from 50-150 calories hourly. Additionally, you lose about one liter of fluid for every hour of hiking and even more during a hot climate. This fluid loss must be replenished to keep your body hydrated. But, when the conditions become more challenging, you often find yourself walking up steeper slopes and at high elevations causing more of a strain and requiring your heart to work harder.

The more challenging terrains tend to be the most beautiful, though. Would you rather stroll around some brush in ordinary terrain or hike up a thick forested mountain? But, the conditions up that thick forested mountainside require more from the hiker tackling it. Be sure to pace yourself and monitor your heart rate. Try to stay on the lower range of 70 to 120 beats per minute, the average rate at rest and then during a harder workout.

This can help you avoid what is sometimes called Acute Mountain Sickness or High Altitude Syndrome, among other terms. Just as high altitudes can present challenges, crossing rivers and lakes can as well. Along with strength, experience and technique can make it a lot easier also.

Finding quality boots is the first step, specifically a waterproof, high-top boot to keep your feet dry. This is a must to avoid foot problems.

As far as technique for such conditions, it’s about experience, common sense and intelligence. For instance, avoid the temptation of fording a river when you do not need it. Undercurrents, cold temperatures and slippery bottoms are only a few of the dangers you could face. If possible, step on rocks in a stream rather than directly walking through the water. Or, take a bridge or walk around the lake rather than swimming through it.

These alternatives will actually save energy. You will have less fatigue with a longer walk than a cold, short swim. Remember, a lot of it is about common sense. Hiking in the great outdoors can be an amazing experience, but getting injured or becoming unwell should not be part of the experience.

What to know about hearing aids

Hearing aids are devices that are used to aid in hearing. They are commonly used to help those who have a difficult time hearing. There are several different types of them. In many cases, they have been developed over time and the various versions of them are mainly due to the improvements that have been used.

One of the types of hearing aids is the body worn aids. These are the first type of aid to be used. Today, they are rarely used because there are better quality options available due to the improvements of technology. They use an amplification system that is connected to a mold that fits around the ear. They are large and this helps in some of the worst cases of hearing loss where other units cannot.

Another option is those that are behind the ear aids. A custom made ear mold is connected to a small case that fits behind the ear. They are used to all types of hearing loss and work well for children because of how durable they are as well as how capable they are of being connected to assistive listening devices that can be used within the classroom.

Yet another type of hearing aid that is commonly used is that of the ITE aids. These are also known as in the ear aids because that is the location that they are in. They are custom made for each person individually. They work for most all types of hearing loss as well. In most cases, a child can wear them after the age of 13 as their growing patterns have slowed down.

Although there are several other types of hearing aids on the market, it is best to speak to your doctor about which is the right device for your needs. In many cases, there will be special equipment to help you in hearing better.

    Pay attention awareness changes everything

Let me tell you an old Zen story about a monk, this monk knew that awareness was key to his existence and enlightenment. So he decided to go out and find a Master called Tao who was renowned for his ability for awareness. He searched high and low and eventually after many years of practicing awareness during his search for Master Tao he comes across some villagers who were talking about Master Toa's abilities. He approached them and asked them if they knew where he could be found. They answered, "why yes, his hut is on the hill over there by the stream, its easy to find as it's the only hut." The monk thanked them anticipating this journey was almost over he ran to the hut. He noticed a sign that said," remove shoes before entering", and quickly he removed his shoes and ran in falling to the ground in front of the master and told him of his incredible journey. The Master did not flinch or acknowledge the monk, he just simply asked," Did you remove your shoes when you entered?" The monk was a little upset, noticing that the master never noticed he was barefoot. He answered with a little surprise, "Yes master, of course. The master the asked," which side of the door did you place them?" The monk replied, "I don't remember master, let me check."

The master replied "when you have the awareness that you notice the small details that make the big difference then you will be ready to begin your journey, till then I suggest you go home until you are ready."

The monk left with his head bowed and came across the same villagers. They asked him if he had met the Master, to which he replied, " Yes, and I have just released my journey has just begun."

Just like the monk, I would like you to consider that regardless of the amount of training and personal development and education that you have had so far, this article is just the beginning of your personal Journey.

Awareness in and of itself can change your life, most people really don't know what spiritual teachers mean by this term because it is used without any for of definition other than what our own life experiences create for us. It is more than just knowing something, because just knowing does not stop you from getting stuck in the rut and dysfunctional emotional reactions that keep you from being your real self.

Awareness involves seeing how everything fits together to create you, what happens to you, how you behave, how you react, what you feel inside, and everything that goes on around you to create your universe.

When you see this with awareness then the consequences of each step become apparent and you are at choice, let me repeat this, you are at choice.

Other wise you are just operating as if you were reacting to situations on autopilot based on old programming from when you were a child.

Creating this level of awareness is as easy as it is difficult, the first stage is to PAY ATTENTION 100%.

Pay attention to what really happened, not what you made it mean?

Pay attention to how you are behaving in the moment.

Pay attention to how you would normally react, this is just habit and programming.

Pay attention to how you feel, be honest, without judgement where it is good or bad just how do you feel? Notice just reading this, stuff comes up. It is important not to stuff down feelings as this can be dangerous, as explained in the chapter 19 feelings are just energies. It is just as dangerous to express those feelings, especially for the person you are expressing on.

Pay attention to what is going on around you.

As you develop conscious awareness you begin to notice that it comes in several stages.

The first stage, a person creates their reality entirely unconsciously, they do it by internally processing all the information that comes at them through their senses. How the see, hear, feel by touch, taste and smell; and they process this information to create how they feel, behave and react to life. It is almost as though every thing outside of them is dictating who the world they live in is created. Life just seems to happen because an initial external stimulus creates the resultant behaviour, reactions and feelings. This is autopilot and each stimulus is programmed from experiences from the past.

The second stage occurs like an awakening, they discover that what they do with what comes in through their senses creates every feeling, behaviour and reaction. Also that their beliefs become reality, and the mind is an amazing powerful goal seeking tool, that creates and attracts what you focus on. And that your have been focusing unconsciously and unintentionally on external stimuli hence your results.

They learn that, if they are waking up to terms of their awareness, they can not focus on something unless they value it. They also learn that if they value something in order to avoid what they do not want , they are actually focusing on what they do not want; and again the mind creates results upon which it is focused, which is what you dont want and you end up getting.

The third stage, they begin to master their internal map of reality by acknowledging that the information that you receive from your senses if being filtered through deletion, distortion and generalisation before being re-presented to the mind. As they master this, they become aware of the ability to take charge of their emotions, behaviours and reactions know that the information they are receiving is not complete. They also can create their own reality by choosing what they focus on consciously. This stage of awareness allows them to manifest what they want to create in physical, emotional and spiritual essence. This shift requires conscious awareness and finally the last stage.

The forth and final stage , enlightenment, this is when they become aware of the realization of the supreme reality beyond the mind and that direct perception of reality without the filters of the mind or self realization; and that they are the source of all love and bliss.

Not bad for the first chapter, the secret to enlightenment. If you want a step by step easy guide, then this is it.

Pay attention 100% , and then love life and all of creation, including and especially yourself. Do this and you will be on the path. I am sure there are many other levels of awareness and paths but the simplicity of this is key to me.

The way in which I practice this is by keeping things very simple in life and paying attention as life occurs around you. This is the basic skills of our natural born leaders and those that standout from the crowd, you have to make this a conscious decision.

So ask yourself in each moment,

ˇ What am I paying attention to?

    ˇ How am I behaving?

    ˇ How am I reacting?

    ˇ How am I feeling?

And when you pay attention, do not get attached to whatever is going on for you, just allow it to be.
